City Church Dublin

City Church Dublin started in 2013 with evening meetings in an under-used Church of Ireland building. Having gained enough momentum, it moved to Sunday morning gatherings in late-2014 meeting beside the four courts for 7 years. It now meets at the Odeon Cinema at the Point Village where it has grown to a vibrant morning congregation of 130-140 people. With the help of ICM it has run an apprenticeship scheme and is seeking to raise up a new generation of gospel workers to meet the need in Ireland and further afield. City Church is also about to send out its own first church plant (Redeemer South Dublin). City is led by Mark Smith. Mark is married to Philippa and they have two young children.
